Vinterhage is the heart child of immigrant pianist and composer Gunvald Andreas Hagen. A somewhat original small ensemble consisting of American Mark Ippolito on trumpet, the Ukrainian cellist Petro Sobach and haugesunder Johannes Ulveraker on drums, as well as Hagen himself.

Ulveraker and Hagen are trained as jazz musicians while Ippolito and Sobach are classically trained. Hagen's music is difficult to put in genre, but is here tried to be described as a meeting between Scandinavian jazz and neo-classical music. Calm, melodic and clean-cut.

Vinterhage:
Gunvald Andreas Hagen, piano
Mark Ippolito, trumpet
Petro Sobach, cello
Johannes Ulveraker, drums
