Perhaps the most sought after Hungarian bass player, János Egri and his former student József Horváth “Pluto” founded their extraordinary band in 2010. In the lead role the two bass musical instrument talking to each other. János Egri as an autodidact was the main pillar of one of the most successful Hungarian jazz bands, Trio Midnight from 1990. The Egri-Pluto Basses, with its unusual line-up, puts two bass guitars in the foreground, amplifying and complementing each other.
