Info for Poster Child (Deluxe)

Uncompromising, nostalgic and brimming with pop-punk spirit: Taylor Acorn is releasing a deluxe edition of her second album, “Poster Child”. The album follows her breakthrough album “Survival in Motion” from 2024 and is her first project since signing to the legendary label, having released music independently for almost a decade.

“Poster Child” is an album of reflection and rediscovery. For the first time, Taylor Acorn wrote entirely on her own, crafting songs in her living room that deal directly with personal healing, identity and resilience. Tracks such as “Hangman” transform real-life struggles – from autoimmune diseases to the mental strain of constant touring – into cathartic anthems of perseverance. ‘Crashing Out’, on the other hand, captures the joy of a reborn live energy and serves as a reminder that even in the most vulnerable moments lies the strength to carry on.

Taylor Acorn

Taylor Acorn
is a singer-songwriter whose emotionally raw music has connected with fans around the world. Originally from Northern Pennsylvania, she started performing in a pop-punk band as a teen before trading in a track and field scholarship for a shot at music. After years of grinding—playing local shows, posting YouTube covers, and working at restaurants—she eventually signed a publishing deal and moved to Nashville. There, a chance creative partnership with producer Dan Swank reignited her love for early 2000s pop-punk, leading to viral covers and a genre-bending breakout moment. Acorn’s path hasn’t been easy, but her resilience and authenticity shine through in her lyrics, live shows, and the deep connection she builds with her audience.
