Ed Blunt
Ed's music evokes classic Tin Pan Alley songwriting with a lyricism that reaches from the introspective to the universal. Whilst rooted in the Americana and folk worlds, his music crisscrosses genres— bearing comparisons with Paul Simon, James Taylor and Randy Newman.

A jazz and classically trained pianist who earned his stripes on the London scene, Ed released his debut album ‘Over the Moon’ in 2022. From cinematic stories of men on the moon to the folklore of his home city, his songs paint a rich tapestry with soul-stirring melodies that linger long after listening.

Described as “brilliant” by Chris Difford of Squeeze, Ed has collaborated with artists including Beth Nielsen Chapman, Jamie Lawson and Elles Bailey and was an invited writer on the 2022 Buddy Holly Foundation songwriting retreat.

In 2024, Ed will release his second solo album, a self-titled project that promises to transport listeners from the sun-soaked shores of Sicily to the neon lights of Broadway through his immersive musical landscapes.
