„Who Can See Forever“ von Iron & Wine ist eine begleitende Live-Aufnahme zum gleichnamigen Film. Der Soundtrack wurde im Haw River Ballroom in Saxapahaw, North Carolina, aufgenommen und enthält neunzehn Songs aus der über zwanzigjährigen Karriere des Singer-Songwriters Sam Beam. Nachdem er im Laufe der Jahre erfinderische Wege gefunden hat, seinen Live-Katalog neu zu erfinden, bietet Who Can See Forever neue und frische Versionen von Iron & Wine-Songs an, darunter „The Trapeze Swinger“, „Boy With a Coin“ und „Naked As We Came“.
Der Film – ursprünglich als Live-Konzertfilm gedacht – entwickelte sich zu einem visuellen Porträt, das Beam während eines kreativen Ausbruchs einfängt, der ihm innerhalb von vier Jahren vier Grammy-Nominierungen einbrachte.

Iron & Wine
Sam Beam
is a singer-songwriter who has been creating music as Iron & Wine for over a decade. Through the course of five albums, numerous EPs and singles, and the initial volumes of an Archive Series - Iron & Wine has captured the emotion and imagination of listeners with distinctly cinematic songs. Iron & Wine is currently celebrating the first two installments of the 'Archive Series' on Sam’s own label, Black Cricket Recording Co. Both releases tap into work created before Sam was Iron & Wine, when he was making music only to be heard by his family. Songs from these same home recording sessions were used for Iron & Wine’s debut, ‘The Creek Drank The Cradle.’
This album contains no booklet.
