Viviana Lasaracina
Italian pianist Viviana Lasaracina graduated from the Conservatorio "Nino Rota" in Monopoli with top grades, full honours and special mention at the age of eighteen, having studied with Benedetto Lupo. She also garnered a Master of Arts degree at the Royal Academy of Music, studying with Christopher Elton. On concluding her studies, Viviana entered the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome, where she received a first-class degree and honourable mention.

She has received prizes and honours at many national and international piano competitions including the XI Castrocaro Competition (winner), the Premio Venezia (2nd prize), the Ciudad de Ferrol (3rd prize/Best Performance of Spanish Music) and the LIII Ciudad de Jaèn (3rd prize and Audience Award) in addition to winning a fellowship and the right to produce a recording for Sarx Records from the Società Umanitaria in Milan, a study fellowship from the Italy's Ministero dell'Istruzione, dell'Università e della Ricerca and a fellowship from the Yamaha Music Foundation of Europe. She was also a finalist at the LVII Busoni Competition, the International German Piano Award, the Young Concert Artists Trust Auditions in London and was the winner of the New York Concert Artists and Associates Auditions for her debut at the Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie.

Most recently, Viviana won 2nd prize and Best Performance Prize of Spanish Music at the Iturbi Competition in Valencia, 2nd prize at the Euregio competition in Germany and the prize for the Best Performance of an Étude by Chopin at the Maj Lind Competition in Helsinki.

In 2006 she made her well-received Milan debut at the Sala Verdi for the Società dei concerti, and recent performances have included appearances on Radio Vaticana and Rai Radio 3, recitals and chamber music concerts in Italy (Turin's Sala Verdi, Mantova's Teatro Bibiena, Milan's Teatro Dal Verme and Auditorium, Padova's Auditorium Pollini, Salerno's Teatro Verdi, Bari's Teatro Petruzzelli and Vicenza's Teatro Olimpico), Spain (Valencia's Palau de la Música), Germany, France (Nice and Paris's Salle Cortot), Great Britain (London's Wigmore Hall and Steinway Hall) and the USA (Miami's Arsht Center for the Performing Arts and New York's Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie).

She has also appeared with such orchestras as the Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano Giuseppe Verdi, the Orquesta Ciudad de Granada, the Orquesta de Valencia, the Orchestra Filarmonica Mihail Jora and the New World Symphony Orchestra.
