The single features remakes of their track "Ilus aeg", by Japanese indie duo Tenniscoats and Scotland's jazz virtuoso Bill Wells. A talented multimusician and composer, Wells has collaborated many with indie artists. His interpretation of Imandra Lake's track is truly enchanting and takes the listener to recognizably his world. His own latest album "Everything's getting older" with Aidan Moffat won the Scottish Album Of The Year Award.
Tenniscoats in turn have done something especially extraordinary with "Ilus aeg" -- the Japanese duo is singing the song in Estonian as they have understood the lyrics by ear.
Imandra Lake is formed of former Pia Fraus members Rein Fuks and Eve Komp. The band's debut album "Seesamseesam" was released in 2010. Their EP "Ülistuslaulud" was out in 2011. Both releases of shoegaze/indie-folk were in Estonian and received warm welcome. The original "Ilus aeg" is from their first album.
