Ksenia was born in Kolomna near Moscow in a family of musicians. At a young age she managed to win several regional competitions, including Tchaikovsky Competition for Young Musicians.
Having gained honors at her final exams at the Academic Musical College, Ksenia was accepted by Moscow State Conservatory to study violin under Professor Irina Bochkova. After her excellent graduation, Ksenia has got a degree of Master of Music in Performing Arts at Zurich High School of Music where she was tutored by Professors Zakhar Bron (violin) and Marc Kissoszy(conducting).
Ksenia has always had a particular affiliation with chamber music and has successfully performed in chamber ensembles around Europe, Asia and North America. She has played with such renowned musicians as Yury Bashmet, Dmitry Sitkovetsky, Liana Isakadze, Justus Frantz and Philipe Graffin. As a soloist, Ksenia Dubrovskaya has welcomed offers to perform with world---renowned orchestras under the baton of Saulius Sondeckis, Justus Frantz, Shinnik Kham, Jacek Kaspszyk and Helmut Müller---Brüll and managed to win an outstanding acclaim of critics through her performance of Alban Berg’s concerto "In memory of Angel" conducted by Theodore Kuchar.
