SOJA
is a Reggae band based in Arlington, Virginia in the Northern Virginia/Washington D.C. area. Starting as an active band in 1997.

They recorded their first album, the self-titled "Soldiers Of Jah Army EP", independently with sound engineer Jim Fox at LION and FOX Recording Studios in 2000.

The band released their first full-length album "Peace in a Time of War" in 2002, the Dub Version of this album was released in 2005.

In 2006, the band released "Get Wiser", their second full-length album. It debuted in the Top 10 Reggae Albums on iTunes.

Over the course of the past few years, SOJA has sold more than 200,000 albums, headlined large theaters in more than 20 countries around the world, generated over 40 million YouTube views, amassed nearly 2 million Facebook fans, and attracted an almost Grateful Dead-like international fanbase that grows with each tour, with caravans of diehards following them from city to city.

Most impressive of all, they’ve accomplished all this on their own. This 8-piece band has spent the past year and a half grinding it out from venue to venue, playing more than 360 dates, including headlining sold-out tours of North and South America, as well as opening for O.A.R. and sharing stages with everyone from Dave Matthews Band to Matisyahu. On January 31, 2012, the band released the album "Strength to Survive", while in October 2012, the album was re-released in Europe with new bonus tracks through Greensleeves label.

On August, 12, 2014, they released the new album "Amid the Noise and Haste".
