Elisa Netzer
is a young and emerging Swiss harpist. Despite her young age, she performed as soloist with the Arturo Toscanini Symphony Orchestra, Solisti della Svizzera Italiana Orchestra, Parma Conservatory Chamber Ensemble, Orchestra mandolinistica di Lugano and Orchestra mandolinista di Modena. In 2013 Elisa will make her international solo debut in St. Petersburg, Russia, at the Hermitage Theatre with the Hermitage State Orchestra, invited by the Musical Olympus Festival as a young emerging soloist. Elisa performed recitals for numerous concert series in venues as Auditorium Paganini in Parma, Auditorium S. Filippo Neri in Bologna, Palazzo dei Congressi in Lugano, Teatro Maestoso in Monza, Basilica Maggiore in Assisi, Basilica of St. Peter in Vatican e altri. Born in Lugano, she starts harp studies at the age of five first at the Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana, then at the Conservatorio Arrigo Boito of Parma (Italy) where she earns a Bachelor degree with the highest mark and laude. Currently she is pursuing a Masters degree at the prestigious Royal Academy of Music in London. Her teachers and mentors include: Judith Liber, Skaila Kanga, Irene Ferrarese and Emanuela degli Esposti. She takes part in Master classes given by Fabrice Pierre, Nathalie Chatelain, Ieuan Jones, Letizia Belmondo, Isabelle Perrin, Katherina Englichova, Erika Waardenburg, Caroll MacLaughlin e Milda Agazarian. First prize winner of numerous international and national competitions she won first prize twice at the Swiss Young Musicians competition, first prize at the Concorso Internazionale di Esecuzione musicale di Riccione, first prize and"Antonio Salieri" prize at the Concorso Internazionale Giovani Musicisti di Legnago and first prize at the "Daniele Ridolfi" Competition in Viareggio (Italy).
