José Privat, pianist with the emblematic Martinican group Malavoi, is back with a new project, Clin d'Œil, in which he concentrates on his favourite instrument: the Hammond B3 organ. For this fourth opus, the organist decided to surround himself with some of the best musicians of the young generation of West Indian jazz: Ralph Lavital on guitar, Tilo Bertholo on drums and Elvin Bironien on bass. Between modernity and Martinican tradition, Clin d'Œil promises a colourful journey, enhanced by the guest appearance of his son Grégory Privat, who is also arranger on the album.
