“Playing the flute involves constant movement—inhaling and exhaling, which eventually produces sound and music. Similar to our lives, moving along in a continuous flow, as we live out our own story. I have played and recorded a great deal of music, but the first solo recording holds significant importance for any artist. This solo recording was especially meaningful to me personally, as it was made during a very special time in my life while I was awaiting the birth of my daughter.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Mārtiņš Zilberts for the journey we shared in creating “Flow.” Mārtiņš was a first and foremost an excellent pianist, but also a wonderful, sensitive, and responsive musician. I am proud to introduce listeners to Latvian music that I feel deeply in my heart. Especially those music lovers who will discover the works of Latvian composers for the first time.
