Info zu Interlopers

Interlopers ist das neue Projekt von Steven Lindsay, Sänger und Songwriter des einflussreichen schottischen Trios The Big Dish, das Zeitgenossen von Talk Talk, Prefab Sprout und Scritti Politti war.

The Big Dish veröffentlichten zwischen 1986-1991 drei Alben ('Swimmer', 'Creeping Up On Jesus' und 'Satellites'), und Lindsay veröffentlichte anschließend zwei von der Kritik hochgelobte Soloalben, 'Exit Music' (2005) und 'Kite' (2007), bevor sein Label Echo aufgelöst wurde.

Nachdem er 2011 in die engere Wahl für den schottischen Aspect Art-Preis gekommen war, wurde Lindsay Vollzeitkünstler und hat als Maler Anerkennung und Erfolg gefunden.

After a career in music spanning over 30 years firstly as singer/writer for the band The Big Dish and then as a solo artist Steven Lindsay's latest creation started as a studio project and morphed into a live band with musicians Stuart McCredie, Ross McFarlane and Adrian Barry.

A new album interlopers due in May 2022 will be released by Second Swimmer recordings through the Chrysalis group. The single nothing will ever be the same again will be available from 21st January 2022.
