The Shuffles Inc. are delighted to present: Soul Sessions. A blend of 60s and 70s soul featuring silky male and female vocals, elegant brass, gospel harmonies and a warm groove. A refined and authentic sound, elegant and timeless.

Known as musical explorers, the core duo of Nathalie Loriot and Franck Hedin alongside their dedicated backing band recorded the 12-track album entirely live on tape in an old-school, analog studio setup. Moving away from their previous ventures into Jamaican rocksteady and Californian folk-rock, this new project is a dedicated homage to 1970s soul spanning the iconic sounds of Memphis, Philadelphia, Detroit, and Chicago.

are musical explorers. Album after album, Nathalie Loriot and Franck Hedin, accompanied by their loyal backing band, record authentic tributes to the musical styles that have influenced them – live and on tape – in their old-school analogue studio.

This journey through time has already taken them to 1960s soul, Californian folk rock from Laurel Canyon, Jamaican rocksteady, the US FM sound of the early 1970s, disco and the 1950s.

Today, it is 1970s soul that takes centre stage – from Memphis to Philadelphia, via Detroit and Chicago. With a line-up of first-class vocalists, the album’s 12 tracks plunge us into the heart of 1970s African-American soul.
