Wie Olga Georgievskaya in ihrem Künstlerstatement, einem Feature der Odradek-Booklets, schreibt: ›Jedes Werk in diesem Programm ist einzigartig und repräsentiert auf seine Weise einen ungewöhnlichen Stil in der Kunst des Klavierspiels.‹

Über Liszt beschreibt sie ›Vallee d'Obermann‹ und ›Apres une Lecture du Dante: Fantasia quasi Sonata‹ als ›zwei der bedeutendsten Stücke aus den ersten beiden Bänden seines Zyklus Annees de Pelerinage. Im Vergleich zu traditionellen Variationen zeigt Liszts Transformation eines einzigen Motivs in diesen Werken eine erstaunliche Bandbreite an Möglichkeiten, die sich bis zur Unkenntlichkeit verändern und zu vielfältigen und kontrastreichen Fantasiewelten entwickeln.‹

Award-winning Russian pianist Olga Georgievskaya performed as a recitalist and soloist with major orchestras all over Russia (Moscow, Murmansk, Severomorsk, Polyarniy, Belgorod, Krasnoyarsk, Barnaul, Tomsk, Arkhangelsk, Ulyanovsk, Novgorod, Maykop, Pskov etc.) as well as in Italy, France, Finland, Spain, Greece, Switzerland, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, and the USA. She graduated cum laude from the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory, where she also completed her postgraduate studies, and became a top-prize winner in many international competitions. She has been awarded with Hartt Talent Scholarship and with Raymond Hanson Piano Scholarship by the University of Hartford (Connecticut, USA). Piano duo of sisters Olga and Liudmila Georgievskaya has also been awarded in several international music competitions.

Olga Georgievskaya has been a featured soloist with many orchestras, including Murmansk Philharmonic Orchestra, Pskov Symphony Orchestra, Belgorod Symphony Orchestra, State Symphony Orchestra of Adygei Republic, National Symphony Orchestra of Uzbekistan, Chamber Orchestra Turkistan, Symphony Orchestra of Arkhangelsk Music College, among others. As a permanent participant of many piano festivals, she performed for series of concerts All Piano Sonatas by Franz Schubert of the Russian Schubert Society, Musical Evenings of the Moscow State Lomonosov University, Festival of Piano Transcription History and Modern Times, Musical Evenings of the Moscow Region State Pushkin Museum, Festival of music by N. Medtner, Festival of music by F. Liszt, and others.

She often engages in highly challenging projects, such as her performance of the 32 piano sonatas by L. van Beethoven in a series of seven recitals, and the series Musical Portraits of Composers of ten recitals. Her live performances have been broadcasted on the Russian federal radio channel Orpheus, on the Murmansk Television and on the Television of Uzbekistan.

Olga Georgievskaya combines her intense concert career with a creative work and music research as well as with her teaching activities. She earned her Ph.D. at the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory with a research project on polyphony in the music of Sergey Rachmaninov, and is currently a piano professor at the Moscow City University and a guest professor at the Russian State Specialized Academy of Arts. She gave piano masterclasses in Russia, Finland, Uzbekistan, and the USA.

Olga Georgievskaya is the author of a number of concert piano transcriptions that have been published and extensively performed by many pianists in Russia, Italy, Finland, France, Uzbekistan, and the USA. After having her transcriptions performed in Dallas in 2011, she was awarded with an honors certificate by the Russian American Center of Dallas “in recognition of outstanding contribution to the promotion of Russian culture”.

Her debut CD Chaconnes and Songs, released in 2015 with Odradek Records, was praised by the international press, such as Gramophone and others. Among her other recent achievements, she was awarded with the artistic residence through the 2015 Odyssee program at the Royal Abbey of Saint-Riquier, France, supported by the French Ministry of culture and communication and the Network of Cultural Encounter Centers.
