Grzegorz Rudny
graduated in 2013 from the Ignacy Jan Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań, piano class of professor Waldemar Andrzejewski. He gave concerts in numerous Polish cities, as well as in Italy, France, Germany, Russia and Austria, including performances at the 41st International Contemporary Music Festival “Poznań Musical Spring”, 3rd and 5th International Flute Festival in Poznań and 11th Polish-Russian Arts Festival in Moscow.

He participated in a number of master classes and private lessons conducted by eminent pianists, such as: Patsy Toh, Katarzyna Popowa-Zydroń, Martin Hughes, Ronan O’Hora, Tim Ovens, Rainer Becker, Rem Urasin, Elena Richter, Maurizio Barboro, Constantino Catena, Grzegorz Kurzyński, Edward Wolanin, Olga Rusina, and flutists: Moshe Aron Epstein, Antoni Wierzbiński, Ewa Murawska.

Since 2011 he has collaborated with flutist Natalia Chudzicka, with whom he was awarded the second prize on the 12th International Music Competition in Chieri (Italy, 2012) in duets category. In 2014, they reached semi-finals at the 8th Swedish International Duets Competition in Katrinenholm, and 6th International Flute Competition in Kraków, 2014.

He recorded Ewa Fabiańska-Jelińska’s Arabesque for her New chamber works album presenting works of contemporary Polish and Norwegian composers, which was released by Acte Prealable.

Rudny also actively supports cultural life at his home town, Środa Wielkopolska, by organizing monthly concerts, with the performers being the most prominent students of the Poznań Academy of Music. He currently continues his education on a post graduate chamber music course at Universität für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Vienna, G. J. Pokorny’s class.
