Info for Miniatures
On ‘Miniatures’, the third studio album by Berlin film and television composer Kerim König, he recorded for the first time his own short one- to three-minute pieces under the direction of sound engineer Wolfgang Schiefermair at the renowned Teldex Studio Berlin. As a sensual, clearly accentuated musical sketch, the album creates moments that stand for something bigger as a small but important part. With a fine stroke König draws just as much as it takes to grasp them – no more and no less.

Kerim König
lebt in Berlin und komponiert seit 2007 vorwiegend für Film und Fernsehen. Er nahm unter anderem teil an einer Masterclass des mehrfach preisgekrönten Filmkomponisten Alexandre Desplat (The Ghostwriter, Benjamin Button, The Queen), sowie am Orchestrationskurs “The Art of Orchestration for Film and Television” von Scott Smalley (Batman, Mission Impossible, The Insider).
In seinen Solo-Alben verfolgt Kerim König musikalische Ideen, für die beim Komponieren für Film und TV-Projekte oft kein Raum ist. Das aktuelle Album “_in between” ist die zweite Zusammenarbeit mit der Berliner Pianistin Mayuko Miyata. Die Alben erscheinen beim kölner Label Hey!blau Records (Sublabel Hey!classics).
