Norwegian jazz sextet Ladybird Orchestra offers rhythmic drive, captivating motifs and exploratory improvisation. The new debut album has an unmistakable touch of western Norway: stormy outside and pleasant inside. It seems light and humorous, known as folk tunes and classical, American piano jazz in Bill Evans tradition. It's mainly instrumental music, but they are no strangers to breaking out into singing in good groove!
