Following his big band arrangements of John Coltrane’s classics, "A Love Supreme" and "Africa/Brass", Christophe Dal Sasso tackles Chick Corea's "Three Quartets". Under the expert guidance of the arranger, his big band (Voted France’s best jazz orchestra in 2020) revisits the legendary album, featuring in the footsteps of the late Michael Brecker, three exceptional saxophonists: David El-Malek, Stéphane Guillaume and Rick Margitza. A lively and spectacular tribute to the pianist who passed away in 2021.

Christophe Dal Sasso
Considered one of the most brilliant arrangers in France, already author of four critically acclaimed records, he has participated in most of the orchestral projects of the Belmondo brothers, since “Hymn to the Sun” and the double album “Influence” with the legendary Yusef Lateef until they met singer Milton Nascimento. A full-fledged composer, he has made an entire record with saxophonist David Liebman ("Exploration", 2006) for whom he has also orchestrated pieces performed by the Ensemble Intercontemporain. On the borders of jazz and classical know-how, this child of the Mediterranean has led several adventures for medium and large groups that lack neither breath nor scope.
