Commemorating the 45th Anniversary of Mixer's Lab! Fifth in the Kenichi Tsunoda Big Band "BIG BAND SOUND" series produced by Mixer's Lab! 10 songs selected from Jazz and Latin masterpieces of the past! The famous performances by the Kenichi Tsunoda Big Band were recorded, mixed and produced by recording engineer Eiji Uchinuma (Chairman of Mixer's Lab and Honorary Chairman of the Music Studio Association of Japan), and recorded in high sound quality using the most advanced recording technology!
This is a must-listen for audiophiles as well, and comes in 96/24 and MQA.
The album includes a selection of standard Jazz and two Latin songs ("El Cumbanchero" & "Cibonay") that were not included in the past BIG BAND series (Vol. 1 to Vol. 4).From Swing to Latin, a must-listen album for audiophiles as well as Jazz fans! Duke Ellington's "Let's Go on the A Train" and Benny Goodman's famous "Sing Sing Sing" were included in the first album "BIG BAND STAGE ~Reviving Big Band Sound~" in 2010, but were newly recorded for this album! Moreover, "Sing Sing Sing" is a version with vocals this time (Vo: Charito), and all the songs were recorded at Victor Studio 301st, which is ideal for big band recording. The mixing process took place over three days at Eiji Uchinuma's home studio, LAB recorders B studio (MIXER'S LAB).
