A familiar name to the Italian music scene, Nico Di Battista has performed and has collaborated with such artists as: Mina, De Crecenzo, Toquinhio, James Senese, Tullio De Piscopo, Nino Buonocore, Roberto Murolo, Lina Wertmuller, Lester Bowie, Don Mojet and most recently Solomon Burke – performing on the guitar, bass. His dazzling technique and musicality has stunned audience.

Professionally he began in 1989 with Nino Buonocore collaborating on ‘Scrivimi’, the LP ‘Sabato Domenica e Lunedi’ and two tours.
In ‘90 he joined forces with James Senese “Jesciealla” international CD with the collaboration of Lester Bowie and Don Mojet of the “Art Ensamble of Chicago”. He took part in many productions, Patrizio Trampetti and Nino Ragozzini's “Rago.it”.
In 1992 he collaborated with Fred Bongusto and Toquinio on the album ‘Ancora Insieme’ for which he was arranger. The great Mina sings one of his songs ‘Amanti’ on the album ‘Caterpillar’. Roberto Murolo in ‘93 sings “Ricordo dolce” another song composed by Nico.
Also in ‘93, there is the meeting with Eduardo De Crescenzo, three tours and the creation of a live record “Live”.
In ‘95 he collaborated with Tullio De Piscopo on the album “Zzacoturtaic” and “Passione Mediterranea” and two national tours.
In 97 he took part in Gianni Mina‘’s ‘Storie’ programme accompanying Gabriella Ferri.
In 98/99 he participated with maestro Pinuccio Pirazzoli in various television programmes (Titanic, Cocco di mamma, Domenica in).
In 2000 he took part in new productions including a record by the Sardinian singer-songwriter Marcello Murro, and collaborated with Roberto Sironi, a French singer-songwriter of Italian origin who is already famous in France as L'ENCHANTEUR.
In 98/99 he participated with maestro Pinuccio Pirazzoli in various television programmes (Titanic, Cocco di mamma, Domenica in).
In 2000 he took part in new productions including a record by the Sardinian singer-songwriter Marcello Murro, and collaborated with Roberto Sironi, a French singer-songwriter of Italian origin who is already famous in France as L'ENCHANTEUR.
In 2001/ 2002 he produced ARLETTE ROXBURGH American official singer of NETS and DEVIL in New York. He collaborated on the soundtrack for the film ‘Francesca e Nunziata’ by Lina Wertmuller.
In 2003 the official release of the CD ‘The Dream’ with Rrok Jakaj and Gianluca Fuiano, then an understanding with the ‘Great’ SOLOMON BURKE the King of Soul, with three European tours in 2002/03/04.
In 2005 he released a method of a particular guitar technique entitled ‘Thumb & Slap for the guitar’ published by BMG/Ricordi.2007 saw the release of ‘Neapolis’ CD published by Raitrade, dedicated to Neapolitan song of the early twentieth century.
Also in 2007, ‘Bolkesio Hotel’, a CD published by AB+ with original compositions in New Jazz style. In 2009 a method on guitar technique published by Carish ‘tecniche per la chitarra’ was released and in 2010 together with an intense teaching and concert activity the cd ‘Segreti’ produced by Ultrasound records.
This album contains no booklet.
