Efrat Alony
Their music is as diverse as their biography - Alony was born as daughter to Iraqi immigrants in Haifa and grew up in Israel. It is there she began her studies in composition and singing that she continued in the US, and completed at the Hanns Eisler Music Academy in Berlin. In 2009, Efrat Alony was appointed professor of jazz singing at the Bern Academy of Arts.
