Info for Hope
Sine Music releases the new album „Hope“ by musician and producer Glint. The album contains nine tracks.
Sometimes hope is not born out loud, but in silence. In pausing. In a single, clear melody.
With his fourth studio album “Hope”, Glint creates a finely balanced sound space between ambient, subtle electronics and - for the first time - piano-based compositions. Nine tracks form a work that appears reduced and gains depth precisely because of this.
The second album track “Hope” takes center stage. A piece that carries the essence of the album: calm, melodic, almost fragile and yet full of inner strength. It is music that does not push, but carries.
The two concluding tracks “One World” and “News from the End” in particular show a new facet. Here the piano takes on the leading role: neoclassical, cinematic, clear. The pieces seem like open spaces of thought and lend the album a touching intimacy that has never been seen before in Glint's work.
In contrast, there are three finely structured electronic tracks with a subtle beat that give the album a subtle movement without breaking through its tranquillity. The sound remains organic, warm and deliberately reduced.
“Hope” moves between melancholy and confidence. It is an album for quiet moments, for reflection, for depth, for the confidence that even in difficult times something good remains possible. A quiet but powerful statement.

GLINT
a solo project, founded by musician and producer Martin Stehl, is focussing on creating original tunes in the genre of Deep House, Chillout & Ambient.
Always fond of well-made songs, his earliest interest lay in creating and producing songs in the Pop music genre for over a decade while becoming more relevant as he illustrated his production style in the late 90’s House genre. At that time he was also involved with Frank Farians acts like La Bouche and No Mercy plus artist such as Gloria Gaynor, Jocelyn Brown, Niki Haris, Tania Evans, Sabrina Johnson, Spike, Deskee and many more to create house compatible remixes.
The works from the last decade till now lie more in the creation of velvety and flawless instrumental music devoid of any rough edges – music that simply sparkles.
„Estival Arvo“, the debut album by Glint, released by the label Sine Music, presents 13 tracks of sophisticated music that features blended arrangements, incisive rhythms and intense melodies all infused with modern elements.
This album contains no booklet.
