Northern Irish, Nashville-based country artist Gareth releases debut album "Halfway Home".

Recorded in Nashville, Tennessee, Halfway Home is an album about living between two worlds: the place that raised you and the place where you are chasing your dreams. Born in Ireland and now building a life in Nashville, Gareth tells the story of leaving home without ever fully leaving it behind.

Gareth moved to Nashville in early 2025 and had a milestone year: opening for Kip Moore on tour, making his Grand Ole Opry debut, and songwriting and recording music with some of Nashville’s most respected creatives. This ultimately led to a single in early 2026, “1000 Lifetimes” that is being played on U.S. country radio.

Now with over a year under his belt in Nashville, Gareth explores the emotional pull of family, memory and identity while pursuing a dream that requires sacrifice. With his loved ones still back home in Ireland, Nashville is the city where ambition, heartbreak, growth and possibility collide. That tension sits at the heart of Halfway Home: missing home while knowing you had to leave it, finding belonging in a new place while still carrying the old one with you.

Blending Northern Irish roots with his love for storytelling, country artist Gareth is cementing himself as one of music's most promising up and comers. Born in the small Northern Ireland town of Castlederg, the first part of Gareth’s life was spent in a rural neighborhood that barely scratched 3,000 people in population. Gareth knew early on that music was his chosen path. His earliest memories were of his grandfather getting up to sing at weddings, and spending time with his grandparents listening to Country greats like George Jones and Hank Williams, Jr. His affinity for Country music was immediate: the sound, the style, the heart. Gareth was equally drawn to making music, and at eight years old he signed himself up for a local talent competition that was coming to his school. “I was one of the youngest students that was picked to enter,” he recalls. At the behest of his mother (a huge Meat Loaf fan), he performed “I’d Do Anything For Love (But I Won’t Do That)” for the crowd. “I have a photo somewhere of me wearing a fake wig, a white shirt, a waistcoat and a red handkerchief like Meat Loaf,” Gareth says. “I actually ended up winning that competition.” The music teacher at the school saw potential in Gareth, taking him under his wing for vocal lessons and teaching him to play the guitar. By 14, Gareth landed his first gig at a small pub and began touring the local music circuit in Ireland, performing in pubs for £50 a night. From there he took his talents online, galvanizing a fan base globally. He released a series of cover songs through avenues like TikTok, Instagram, and later YouTube Shorts, building his presence.

The catalyst for his success, however, came when Gareth released a Short of Noah Kahan’s “Stick Season.” The clip garnered nearly twenty-five million viewers and had led to tens of millions of streams. “I liked the song, but I never thought it would do what it has done for my career” he admits. He later released an EP of cover songs titled Covers (From Across The Pond), generating over 25 Million streams. The momentum only built from there, and in the Summer of 2024, Gareth released his first original single “What You Don’t Know” and his debut EP Changing Seasons. Gareth followed up the EP with a second project, “Steal Your Thunder” in June of 2025, where he received radio play on SiriusXM’s The Highway, Absolute Country Radio, Smooth Country, BBC Radio 1, and BBC Radio 2.

Gareth is set to release more music before the end of the year. Gareth’s 2025 has been stacked with touring including a Canadian run with Chayce Beckham, festivals and headline tours across UK and Europe, opening support for Kip Moore, and a fall headlining tour in the US. Gareth released a new project, Bluebird, on October 24th featuring his latest single, “Stampede.” In early November, Gareth made his Grand Ole Opry debut. It has always been a lifelong dream of his to play at such a historic venue. With more music and tour dates on the way in 2026, Gareth is just getting started.
