Info for Still Kids

Multi-Platinum pop icons New Kids On The Block have returned with their first new music in 11 years.

The album announcement comes alongside the release of their new lead single ‘Kids’, written and produced by David Stewart (BTS, Jonas Brothers, Jack Harlow, Shania Twain and more) and Luke Batt (Katie Melua).

On the new album "Still Kids", members Jonathan Knight, Jordan Knight, Joey McIntyre, Donnie Wahlberg and Danny Wood channel the New Kids’ beginnings, pushing them into new territory as songwriters and as a band. The album features 14 new tracks and is full of pop anthems, dance tracks, love songs, and grooves that will become fast favorites.

Wahlberg, who co-wrote seven of the tracks on Still Kids, said, “It’s the most mature album we’ve ever made. Yet it’s the most fun and most comfortable album we’ve ever made. This album, more than any other, is bringing the New Kids and the fans full circle. It’s about hope and possibilities and being ourselves.”

McIntyre, who co-wrote another six tracks, echoes the sentiment, “It says a lot about any band to make a record that has energy and passion and lightness and fun and depth – after almost 40 years together? It’s crazy.”

Reimagining the smash 1990 tour of the same name, New Kids On The Block will celebrate the new album and classic hits across the country on their upcoming Magic Summer 2024 Tour. Bringing back the magic and reliving it with fans, the 40+ date concert tour kicks off June 14 with special guests Paula Abdul and DJ Jazzy Jeff.

New Kids On the Block have sold more than 80 million albums worldwide — including back-to-back international #1 songs, 1988’s Hangin’ Tough and 1990’s Step By Step — and a series of crossover smash R&B, pop hits like “You Got It (The Right Stuff),”  “Cover Girl,” “Didn’t I (Blow Your Mind This Time),” “Hangin’ Tough,” “I’ll Be Loving You,” “Step By Step” and “Tonight.” The group which started with humble Boston beginnings grew to shatter concert box office records playing an estimated 200 concerts a year, in sold out stadiums throughout the world.  Since reuniting in 2007, NKOTB have toured consistently to sold out arenas, have sold nearly 4 million tickets and have doubled their crowd sizes. The Boston natives have been bestowed with their very own, “New Kids on the Block Day,” an honor not many can claim, and have played Fenway three times before. The group solidified their place in Hollywood with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame since reuniting and will continue representing Boston on their journey long into the future. In 2024, New Kids will embark on their 2024 Magic Summer Tour, with support from special guests Paula Abdul & DJ Jazzy Jeff.
