Info for Legnomadre
Marco Bardoscia's new project, produced discographically for Paolo Fresu's Tǔk Music, sees on the disc, in addition to the basic quintet, the presence of the Perugia Chamber Orchestra. Compared to his previous works, 'LegnoMadre' is rich in more Latin colours, the result of a deep, never-quenched passion for Cuban and Brazilian music that now emerges from the artistic world of the Salento double bass player.
In some ways, one is also confronted with a deeper spiritual action that had already emerged in Marco's previous discography, capable of linking man and nature, and which now dives deeper into the self of human nature. Worthy of note on the Lecce date is the presence of Gabriele Mirabassi on clarinet, one of the most fascinating and exciting musicians on the Italian and international jazz scene.
