Info for Rounded Nature

Rounded Nature is the debut release from Micheal Murray’s Colourfield, a group led by Irish saxophonist Micheal Murray. The music aims to capture a motion of change in life over the last number of years and reflect a sound that is the culmination of influences from nature, light and life to create a space of unity and expression for both the listener and the musicians.

Micheal Murray’s Colourfield features Joy Shechter (Piano), Omer Govreen (Double Bass) and Wouther Kühne (Drums). Over the number of years playing together this band has understood this ethos, and have created an environment in which the individual exists while also maintaining unity as a group and taking these shared values as something sacred.
