Produced during the lockdown, these recordings were never officially released. These are new versions of songs that Dr. Will & The Wizards recorded individually in private. Audio tracks were sent back and forth, and as sterile as it may sound, these recordings exude a very special charm. This should no longer be withheld from the public.

The man is iconic. The powerful-voiced Dr. Will in his red suit and top hat could have come from a weird Western comedy. But this whole awesome show is real. The guy is real, an entertainer and a gentleman. A miracle doctor who wanders through heaven and hell.

Dr. Will is one of the greatest blues musicians and entertainers in Europe. And, of course, the most eccentric character on the scene. And the fact that everyone in his hellishly good band has a little "heel shot" is the crowning glory of the whole thing. Powerful double bass, whirring banjo picking, magical guitars, and Dr. Will himself on the pounding drum kit.

The Munich native brews his own unique blend of blues with a New Orleans feel, a portion of roots music, a heaping tablespoon of rock, and a generous helping of humor. Earthy and offbeat.
