Info for Jazz på Madrass
RUNDMO is a Nordic jazz trio from Trondheim that plays self-composed music with elements of Nordic folk music. With its unique line-up, the band explores a lyrical soundscape, resulting in descriptive and melancholic expressions. The music is varied and can be reminiscent of everything from a soulful walk in the woods to something more rough and mysterious. This spring, the trio will release their new album "Jazz på Madrass". The album takes inspiration from the bedroom, where different types of dreams and sleep are the inspiration behind the music. The album will be released on 1 March 2024 and this is the first concert with the music.

RUNDMO
is a young trio based in Trondheim. The group met at the music programme at Heimdal high school and consists of Jakob Rundmo Petersen (piano), Hermann Arntzen Hestbek (tuba) and Vemund Strypet (drums). The band was started in 2018 when they wrote their first song "Washing Machine" inspired by Jakob's very first laundry.
They play jazz-inspired music with elements of folk music from Ireland and the Middle East.
