Info for Trouble Coming

French rock artist Laura Cox will release her highly anticipated new album, "Trouble Coming," on October 31, 2025. Following the pre-release singles "No Need To Try Harder" and "Trouble Coming," the album combines everything Laura Cox has become known for—classic rock, blues, American songwriting, but all with a clear, modern sound that carries her music into the future. From energetic guitar anthems like "Do I Have Your Attention?" to atmospheric, introspective moments like "Trouble Coming," the album bridges the gap between powerful riffs and insightful songwriting. From her beginnings as a viral YouTube guitarist, Laura Cox has long since become a defining voice of modern hard rock—connecting generations of listeners seeking both the classic and the new.

"A floating, hypnotic track, inspired by a journey through foggy Scotland. 'Trouble Coming' represents the omnipresent threats around us – often invisible as long as we stay on the surface." (Laura Cox)

"The production is crisp, raw, yet clear. Laura has taken a small but significant step forward from her previous album. Even though the stormy freshness of the first two albums has given way to greater professionalism and modernity. While she may be more of an introvert by her own admission, she appears very extroverted and confident on album number 4. This is also reflected in her live performances, which even made it to the Rockpalast. Because in the videos, she mostly relies solely on her guitar playing, singing, and music." LAURA COX not only impresses online and on her social media platforms (250,000 followers on Facebook and 140,000 followers on Instagram) with her powerful and versatile voice and exceptional guitar playing. Her "Southern Blues Rock" is a fresh alternative for blues and rock festivals, such as Hellfest, Download Festival, Guitare en Scène, Time To Rock Festival, and many others she has played at in recent years.

With this, Laura Cox has catapulted herself into the ranks of the greatest female guitarists, and is there seriously anything cooler than being mentioned in the same breath as Nancy Wilson (Heart), Nita Strauss (Alice Cooper), The Runaways, or Joan Jett, just to name a few? With her debut album, "Hard Blues Shot" (2017), Laura Cox achieved the highest recognition among her fellow guitarists worldwide. Her second album, "Burning Bright," was released on Verycords/Warner in November 2019.
