Info for Something Supernatural

Crobot is known for their affinity for bluesy hard rock that leans toward the stoner rock genre but they open Something Supernatural with something that's completely out of this world: the psychedelic space rock of the Hawkwind-meets-Sammy Hagar "Legend of the Spaceborne Killer."

The quartet isn't off planet for long though; they're back on terra firma for the hard hitting and harmonica embellished "The Necromancer" and the Hendrix-informed "Chupacabra" before rocking all the way into the bowels of the earth to confer with the devil on the appropriately ominous "La Mano de Lucifer."

The album is not exactly a concept album but true to its title, a supernatural theme runs throughout, including on "The Skull of Geronimo," "Night of the Sacrifice," "Wizards" and "Queen of the Light," all of which come to life vividly thanks to lead singer Brandon Yeagley, one of the best blues rock howlers on the scene today.

Something Supernatural definitely crosses over into some mysterious realms lyrically but there's nothing hard to understand about what to do with it; just turn it up and play it over and over.

CROBOT
is an American hard rock band from Pottsville, Pennsylvania, formed in 2011. The group comprises of vocalist Brandon Yeagley, guitarist Chris Bishop, and a rhythm section featuring James Lascu and drummer Dan Ryan. The band initially gained recognition with their debut EP, "The Legend of the Spaceborne Killer" in 2012, which showcased their unique blend of hard rock, blues, and funk.

Their music is characterized by its heavy, groove-oriented riffing and Yeagley’s powerful, versatile vocals. Crobot's style is often described as "Dirty. Groove. Rock" and they are heavily influenced by bands like Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath.

In 2014, Crobot released their first full-length album, "Something Supernatural", under Wind-up Records. The album received positive reviews and helped the band secure spots in major rock festivals. Their subsequent albums, "Welcome to Fat City" (2016) and "Motherbrain" (2019), further established their signature sound and solidified their place in the hard rock scene.

Crobot has toured extensively, sharing stages with popular rock acts such as Volbeat, Anthrax, and Motorhead. Despite lineup changes over the years, Crobot continues to deliver their high-energy performances and distinctive sound, earning a dedicated fanbase worldwide.
