Founded in 2004, the band, has played in hundreds of cities across the U.S. and have also performed for many Division I universities and schools across the nation. Kason Layne was formally known just as a national touring and regional success, but with the signing of their record deal with 12 String Records Inc. and the news of their upcoming national release debut album, “Living It Up”, the band has put the music world in full alert of who they are. Their upcoming album, which contains eleven tracks, was written or co-written by members of the band and was recorded in Nashville, TN at Eight Pound Sound, mixed in Moultrie, GA at Studio D, and mastered by legendary rock extraordinaire, Rodney Mills in Duluth, GA at The Rodney Mills Masterhouse. Kason Layne has released their first single called, “I Miss You Bad” and its currently climbing the country music charts. Their album is already in Wal*Mart as well as Itunes and many other stores phisically and digitally. They have an original sound that mixes southern rock, modern rock, and modern country with the old honky-tonk favorites from the original “outlaws” of country music.
