Peter Groesdonk
The acoustic guitarist Peter Groesdonk found his way to the guitar at the age of 8. Always encouraged by his guitar teacher Peter Karkowski, he has since enjoyed extensive classical training on the instrument and in theory. Another important building block on the way to becoming today's musician was his encounter with guitarist Jimmy Wahlsteen and his music. This was the first time he came into contact with the guitar style 'fingerstyle'. Soon arrangements of big hits and his own compositions were created, which today make up the biggest part of his live programme. He found new inspiration in various master classes, among others with Adam Rafferty, Michael Fix and Kosho. In order to pursue the path to becoming a complete musician even more, he first decided to study at the Institute of Music in Osnabrück in 2015. A year later, he moved to Dresden to the Carl Maria von Weber University of Music to study with renowned musicians such as Reentko Dirks, Stephan Bormann and Thomas Fellow.

Peter Groesdonk already gained stage experience at a young age, in class auditions but also in numerous competitions. In 2014 he took part in the "Jugend musiziert" competition in the pop guitar category and won 2nd prize in the national competition. In addition to his solo concerts, he has shared the stage with stars from the guitar scene such as Jimmy Wahlsteen, Don Ross, Claus Boesser-Ferrari and Peter Kroll-Ploeger, and in 2018 he had the opportunity to take part in a production at one of the most renowned opera houses in Germany, the Semperoper.
