Buddy Holly was a pioneer of Rock ‘n’ Roll and major influence on The Beatles, Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton and Elton John. He tragically died aged 22 in a plane crash (Feb 3rd 1959), leaving his wife who he had been married to for less than one year.
